(01) Overview

A 42-storey mixed-use tower rising from a former dockyard slip-formed concrete core, exposed steel crown, zero lost-time incidents.

(02) The build

The brief

Meridian Holdings came to us with a site most contractors would have walked away from. A 42-storey mixed-use tower rising from a former dockyard — slip-formed concrete core, exposed steel crown, zero lost-time incidents. Our job was to turn a complicated programme into a sequence anyone on site could follow.

How we built it

We front-loaded the risk: laser-scanned the existing conditions, modelled every temporary works stage in 4D and locked long-lead steel before ground was broken. Prefabricated assemblies arrived just in time, which kept the site clear and the crane cycles short.

The result

Handed over in 34 months across 48,000 m², on budget and with a safety record we are proud to publish. The building now does exactly what the drawings promised — and it will keep doing it for the next hundred years.
